Life here on earth brings us worries and regret. As we focus on the worldliness of the world, we distract ourselves away from the real things and in return get the fake ones; we try to avoid the expensive ones and settle for the cheap ones which are damaged and easily broken. Don't you know that God blessed us with genuine, lasting. precious, eternal, spiritual blessings? May this year be the year of breakthroughs as we discover the bountiful riches God had long ago blessed us with. Start claiming His good and perfect gifts. These blessings are the key benefits of a wonderful relationship with God through Christ Jesus.

The word blessing in Ephesians 1:3 is a translation of the Greek word eulogy, and it means "to speak well off". It means that God has spoken of good things for our benefit; that what God has decreed for us are probably beyond our ability to number, but we can outline a few by looking at the verses:

How to know God better

Christianity is not a religion. It is a personal relationship with the living God.

Personal relationship does not run on autopilot. It's easy to have an exciting relationship when you first fall in love, but it takes deliberate effort to keep your marriage close and growing as the years go on.The same is true with your relationship with the LORD. When you first come to Christ. It's new and exciting, but it's easy to lose that first love for Christ and to grow distant in your relationship with Him. It becomes a routine or ritual. You are not growing to know him more intimately.

You have read or heard a lot about President Duterte. You know many detailed facts about his life and presidency. Knowing him personally involves knowing many facts about him and knowing many facts about him requires spending personal time with him.

IT GOES THE SAME WITH GOD, WE CAN KNOW GOD BETTER IF WE SPEND MORE TIME IN HIS WORD.

"The quest for your life should be to know Him more and more."
- Dr. Lloyd Jones

Application Points

We are destined for blessings: spiritual and eternal ones. Thus, we can only receive such gifts on the basis of our personal relationship with him. Walking with the power of each blessing day by day. it requires time sent in His Words everyday. Practically, we can read a chapter in the Bible in the morning or before bed time. Then, get Make it consistent or one we and see he changes it will bring your life.

Share some of your blessings in readings God's word next meeting. Encourage everyone to bring their journal or devotional notebooks next meeting.
